Matrix Motorsport driver Jeff Alden took part in his second TCR UK event of the year at Donington Park circuit over the weekend of 9th & 10 September, delivering two strong performances in rounds 12 and 13 of this year’s championship for global specification touring cars that provided the positive outcome the team was looking for.

Rounds 10 and 11 of this year’s TCR UK championship at Silverstone on August 19th & 20th saw Matrix Motosport’s Jeff Alden return to the grid for global specification touring cars for the first time since the end of 2019. Driving a DW Racing prepared Astra TCR, Jeff showed impressive pace and finshed the first race 15th out of 21 cars.

The Matrix Motorsport team’s season didn’t get off to the start they had hoped for when the Honda Civic driven by Jeff Alden suffered a significant engine issue during the Qualifying session ahead of Easter weekend’s two Milltek Sport Civic Cup races at Snetterton. 

Jeff Alden has confirmed his return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup in 2023, driving the same Matrix Motorsport Honda Civic FN2 he successfully campaigned in 2022. In addition, two appearances in the TCR UK  Championship are planned, driving a Vauxhall Astra TCR.
